What penis size do women really prefer?

What penis size do women really prefer?

Science 3D-printed 33 wieners to find out what women really want.

The results? Slightly above average and emotionally available.

Which means half of us are worrying for no damn reason.

Let’s get this out of the way, yes, size matters...but not like you think.

For every locker room legend and late-night commercial promising to “add three inches of confidence,” the truth is way less dramatic and a whole lot funnier.

Science actually has an answer, and it’s refreshingly average.

A 2015 study published in PLOS ONE asked women to pick their preferred penis size using 33 realistic 3D models.

It sounds like the setup to a bad reality show, but it’s real science.

For long-term relationships, women preferred a size of about 6.3 inches long and 4.8 inches around.

For one-time flings? A hair more — around 6.4 by 5 inches (PLOS ONE).

So yes, slightly above average wins the day.

But before anyone gets too excited (or too discouraged), researchers emphasized that personality, connection, and how someone acts before and after sex matter more than any ruler reading.

Confidence, humor, and kindness beat geometry every time.

The Numbers Game

To put that in perspective, a massive meta-analysis out of BJU International measured over 15,000 men worldwide.

The average erect length clocked in at 5.16 inches, with an average circumference of 4.59 inches.

So if you’re anywhere in that ballpark, congratulations, you’re statistically normal, which is more than most people can say about their driving.

And get this: in follow-up surveys, most women said that anything within one standard deviation of “average” was terrific.

Basically, as long as it’s attached to someone who listens and showers regularly, you’re good. You got this dudes!

Now How Does Kentucky Dudes Compare to Surrounding States?

Not looking great dudes.

Compared to Kentucky (4.99 inches), men in Tennessee, West Virginia, Ohio, and Indiana have the following reported average erect penis sizes, based on 2025 and recent survey data:

  • West Virginia: 5.51”

  • Ohio: 5.35”

  • Tennessee: 5.27”

  • Kentucky: 4.99”

  • Indiana: 4.54”

Sorry Indiana. Dammit Tennessee. But hey, penis size doesn’t matter. I repeat, penis size doesn’t matter. Penis size doesn’t matter.

The Dude Perspective

We’ve spent decades turning something as simple as anatomy into a competition.

But here’s the truth: women want someone who makes them feel comfortable, confident, and maybe laugh so hard they snort once or twice.

That’s the magic combo, not the tape measure in your bathroom drawer.

And if you’re still worried about size, remember it’s not about how you measure up. It’s about how you show up.
