Birds Are Most Likely to Poop on This One Type of Car
Turns out, it’s not just bad luck, but rather science (well, a factory outlet with Wi-Fi) says birds are more likely to drop a “gift” on certain cars. And wouldn’t you know it; Kentucky just happens to be full of them.
The study found Ram trucks are the number one poop target, followed by Jeeps and Chevys.
Which tracks, because you can’t drive ten minutes in Kentucky without seeing a Ram 1500 parked under a shade tree at a Little League field.
Apparently, birds prefer darker rides, brown, red, and black cars get hit the most.
So if your truck looks like a bourbon barrel or a freshly waxed cardinal, you’re basically running an all-you-can-poop buffet.
White and silver cars, meanwhile, are mostly safe.
Which might explain why your uncle’s silver Corolla, the one he’s been “fixing up since ’09,” is the cleanest car in the county.
Experts blame reflections and perch locations.
We blame Kentucky parking habits, if you’re backing your shiny black Ram under the same oak tree where fifty robins roost, that’s on you, dude.
So next time you see a truck splattered in white outside a Speedway, don’t judge.
It’s not neglect. It’s just nature reminding us of who really runs the skies and apparently, has strong opinions about truck brands.
Moral of the story? In Kentucky, drive what you want. Just keep a rag, a sense of humor, and maybe a tarp.
